Their First Date
Francisco remembers: My first date with my now fiancee was a Saturday morning breakfast date at IHOP. When I first saw Cecilia I was kind of nervous because she didn’t seem to like me as much, but I tried to be funny and grab her attention. After breakfast we walked around, which is when I realized Cecilia is really small especially since she wasn’t wearing her high heels. We kind of looked funny together, but I really liked her smile and her attitude so I decided I was going to try and make her my girlfriend.
First Date – Cecilia’s Thoughts
Honestly, I wasn’t sure about going because I didnโt see him like a boyfriend. I was there a little early, and when he texted that he arrived I thought about running away haha, but didnโt. When I saw him, the first thing that came to me was how good he looked with glasses (but now I know he hates them, ha). We had a really good, relaxed conversation, and we realized that we are so different in every way. When we left, we noticed that our cars were parked next to each other. Destiny? –ย naaa just a coincidence because I didnโt like him as more than a friend but I knew that he was looking for more. I was actually hoping that he would never call me back โฆ (the end haha) .. But he did call me back!!! Then suddenly, one day I was totally falling in love with out noticing and the best that has happened is knowing that he feels the same way about me.
The Silly Little Things
One of the silly things Cecilia does, and the funniest I think, is that every once in a while she gets into the mindset that she can pick me up hahahaha, it’s really funny seeing her trying because I’m taller and weigh almost twice as her.
Francisco does many silly things, one is when he follows me (sometimes chasing me) around bending his knees to be at the same height as me and making a silly face. He looks like a gorilla hahaha.
Something They Love About Each Other
Francisco: I love her beautiful smile and warming personality. You could have the worst day and she would make it better instantly.
Cecilia: My favorite characteristics of Francisco is that he is a good listener, unconditional, loyal and romantic. I love how solidary and noble he is, with a great big heart. He cares about others and thatโs one of his best qualities.
