National Harbor Engagement Session – Carmen & Stephen

Sunrise + National Harbor = Perfect Morning! Carmen and Stephen’s engagement session was incredibly beautiful. Not only did they look great, but we especially loved seeing the way they look at each other, so much love!!

Congratulations to this wonderful couple and we can’t wait for their wedding this fall!

The First Date

Stephen and I met through mutual friends. I was attending school at Towson University at the time. Stephen friend requested me on Facebook and we were talking non stop. When I came home one weekend, he decided to take me out and get to know me even more. We went to Red Robin, one of my favorite places to eat so much so that I worked at one in Towson. Dinner was so great that I didn’t want it to end. Stephen was so easy to talk to and he made me laugh- which I loved! I convinced him to take me to another restaurant/bar called Boston’s to continue our easy-going date!

Silly Little Things

When ever one of us is grumpy or we start a ridiculous argument, one of us just makes a silly face that we always do to make the other person laugh and then we forget about what’s going on in the moment. Some friends of ours have caught us doing it and they think we’re nuts, but it works!

Something They Love About Each Other

My favorite characteristic of Stephen is he looks out for what’s best for me. I also love that he is a great trip planner. Every vacation we go on I have the best time of my life.

Stephen says his favorite characteristic of me is that I am super sweet and have the biggest heart. He also loves that I accept him for who he is.

Their Special Song

Our song is “My best friend” by Tim McGraw. We are definitely each other’s best friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Jimmy buffet and Huey lewis and the news will also get us going! We see Jimmy Buffet in concert every year.

So amazing and gorgeous! You have out done yourselves! I am crying with tears of joy-of course. They are beyond anything I could have imagined! Fantastic pictures-beautiful beyond what my words can express. (But then again-I am Carmen’s mother!)
