By showing up in the bitter cold, and still managing to look adorable, Shannon and Alex showed their true Midwest roots! For a couple from Ohio, the Washington D.C. snow was barely enough to register, but it sure did make for a beautiful backdrop to their engagement session. Having known each other for almost ten years, their love is deep. It melts our heart to see the way they look at each other with such love. Wishing you all happiness on this new season together!
Hear how it all started.
Our first date was on December 2, 2006 at the movie theater at Easton Town Center in Columbus, OH. I went with two friends (for support) and Alex went with three friends (also for support!). We sat together, though, but did not hold hands until a few weeks later. The movie was ‘Borat,’ which made things even more awkward.
We asked them to share something silly or quirky the other person does. Here’s what they said:
Something quirky I do, according to Alex, is eat small amounts and get full, but then gets hungry an hour later! Alex thinks my eating habits are very weird. Something quirky Alex does, according t Shannon, is pace back and forth while he is on the phone!
