Your Engagement Session is a celebration of your relationship with the one you love! This is the perfect time to pause and intentionally appreciate who your finance is. To know and be known is one of the deep longings of the heart. We want your engagement session to be an experience of connection, joy, and seeing your beloved as the miracle they really are. You will relish in the smell of your sweetheart, the softness of your loverโs lips and the laugh lines of the one who chose you.
What will our Engagement Session be like?
Your session will be a hands on, have fun, feel good, photographic adventure. It celebrates and explores showing love, feeling love and being loved. During your session we will encourage you to remember your first date, breath slowly and feel the beating of their heart, hold hands and let their touch reassure you – you are home! You can expect your session to be about 2 hours; We can travel to two locations as long as theyโre close; and You can incorporate one outfit change.
To help everything go as smoothly as possible we recommend arriving ten minutes before your scheduled start time. This way you can relax and enjoy your experience without feeling rushed.
What if we donโt know what to do in front of the camera?
Our goal for your Engagement Session is for you to feel comfortable while we capture your range of emotions and highlight your love for each other. We know being in front of the camera can sometimes feel intimidating, so weโll give you suggestions on what to do with your hands and different ways to interact. You know the moment when your beloved looks at you and your heart just melts?
We want you to focus on that feeling and let us take care of making sure you look great!
Where will our Engagement Session take place?

Can dogs join the fun?
We love dogs and it can be so much fun to incorporate pets into your Engagement Session!
Itโs usually best to include them at the beginning of your session and bring a friend to take them home. Youโll want your hands free for cuddling with each other instead of holding on to a leash for your whole session!
What happens if thereโs bad weather?
If youโre up for it, we know how to make the best of bad weather with umbrellas and rain boots. Rainy sessions can be incredibly romantic! Of course, if thereโs lightening or dangerous winds weโll work with you to reschedule or find a backup location indoors.
When should we schedule our Engagement Session?
If youโre hoping to use images from your session for Save the Dates, we recommend having your session 5-9 months before your wedding. We schedule session for Mondays, Fridays, and limited weekend dates. Our sessions book quickly so we recommend reserving your date as soon as possible!
